Dear Lucy,
Thank you for that kind sentiment. I was thinking while watching the
memorials today that so many of the victims came from all over the world.
It was hard to feel the grief all over again for the family cousin we
lost. I felt badly that I didn't know him better; he was my age, had
two children of similar ages to mine and had similar family difficulties
(a medical difficulty with his oldest son). We spent time today at the
"legacy" page for him and reflecting on what a good man he was to all.
It made me also think that we should all take the time while we have it
to know and love each other better. I spent a lot of time with my "bed
Cavaliers" today. They truly were comforting.
