I have a recipe for something called magic meatballs. given to me by Martha Covington Thorne many, many years ago.. 10 lb. ground beef 20 egg yolks 2 regular boxes total cereal 2 12 oz. jars wheat germ 2 cups corn oil 2 cups molasses mix, form into any size balls you prefer (I like Swedish meatball size) freeze and use as needed.
If the dog won't eat on his/her own I give a small amount (about 1/4 cup) in pill like amounts once or twice a day. I'm never in a hurry to show a pup and won't show any dog if it isn't looking as good as I think it can look. However I also enjoy showing puppies because there is no pressure..:) just fun.
