Can anyone tell me if it's OK to give a dog regular (people) glucosamine to a dog. My neighbor has a 10 year old German Shepherd with severe arthritis and possibly HD. They have no money so they will not be getting x-rays. In our town we have a Kroger outlet store that has glucosamine-condroiton for 2 dollars a bottle. If it's OK to give to a dog, I thought I might get a few bottles for them. If anyone knows about this, let me know.
