I have to agree with your assessment of the "Clipper" crate, Ellen......Although it looked like a great idea .......it isn't sturdy enough. The size I bought doesn't have a handle on top to lift it with one hand - so any lifting manuveur has to be done with two hands.......the door pops open or off all the time - when lifting it, if the sides get a little mis-aligned, the door pops out of it's groove! We've broken one end of the handle - as Suze mentioned, it tips and doesn't manuever easily.....
We have used it alot - going in and out of hotels.....and we "work around" the pitfalls....but, I've said numerous times, I wouldn't buy another.....
