I THINK it is brass, Peggy, but I wouldn't swear to that? <G> I've seen folks dip it in gold and put a bezel around it and wear it, but to me it looks HUGE for that. If I had a vote in the matter, it would be about half the size and made of something like silver or gold as you say!
