Hi List, I am hoping there is someone on the list who knows something about mycoplasma and it's potential effect on male fertility. I took my 10 1/2 year old Aussie to be collected one last time, and he did not have enough sperm to collect. Yes, he is old but I still hoped to use him. The people at ICSB felt the cause might be mycoplasma. He is in excellent health. They said his testicles were normal. I am glad I learned of a possible problem this way rather than through a missed breeding. He was fine this time last year by the way. I intend to look at all possibilities to get the sperm count back up-would love to hear of experiences others have had-in any breed-they are all dogs!
