We haven't had a hurricane here in a while so I didn't think of bleach.
I must say it doesn't much appeal to me to drink any either. <G> But
I do remember folks using it when necessary. At the time of the last
hurricane we HAD bottled water delivered, so were well supplied. I
haven't had that in years............maybe we need to go back to it.

A tip from the hurricane zone - you can purify water with Clorox.
2 drops of regular bleach per quart of water
8 drops of regular bleach per gallon of water
1/2 teaspoon regular bleach per five gallons of water
If water is cloudy, double the dosages of bleach. Do not use Fresh Scent or Lemon
Fresh, Clorox II, etc.
