Hi , I applied all e17
(cpu controller and e17.incr.tar.bz2) patches to mainline
kernel 2.6.10 .
When i run following command , i get an error:
#echo "res=cpu, mode=enabled" > /rcfs/taskclass/config
The space after the comma is the problem. Remove it.
error in /var/log/message:
kernel: FUNC_write : CLSTYPEFUN error.
Please let me know where i went wrong.
However, the cryptic error message is a bug...one of the consequences of our use of macros while handling of magic files (though I think we can get macros to print out arguments as part of literals using #). In any case, the next version will remove the macros (they make debugging harder) so this should get a bit better.
