That's an excellent point. That decides it. I'm going to turn of posting from non-members. For the moment I've just changed the ALU page to tell folks to send FAQ submissions to me. When I get around to it I'll set up a cl-faq-editor list or alias or whatever for submissions. > Maybe you could close the list, add a trailer to each message along > the lines of "If you are not subscribed please send FAQ submissions to > cl-faq-submissions at lispniks.com", and also include that in the > message that mailman sends when it bounces submissions from > non-subscribers. Since almost all of the non-subscriber posts are spam (with presumably fake addresses) I don't want to make the internet bandwidth wastage problem worse by replying to them--I'm just going to set it up to toss the messages. -Peter -- Peter Seibel * [EMAIL PROTECTED] Gigamonkeys Consulting * http://www.gigamonkeys.com/ Practical Common Lisp * http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/ _______________________________________________ cl-faq mailing list cl-faq@lispniks.com http://www.lispniks.com/mailman/listinfo/cl-faq
