That's an excellent point. That decides it. I'm going to turn of  
posting from non-members. For the moment I've just changed the ALU  
page to tell folks to send FAQ submissions to me. When I get around  
to it I'll set up a cl-faq-editor list or alias or whatever for  
submissions.

Since almost all of the non-subscriber posts are spam (with  
presumably fake addresses) I don't want to make the internet  
bandwidth wastage problem worse by replying to them--I'm just going  
to set it up to toss the messages.
