Hello all,

I am preparing packages of 0.70-rc for Debian, and I wanted to see what
your upcoming naming schema is likely to be, as this will affect the
ease of upgrades from this version.

Is it likely that the next version is going to be something like
0.70-rc1, or 0.70-rc-1. or how do you envision it? dpkg gets a little
finicky about what is higher and lower version numbers (I believe it
does absolute lexical sorting). The two ideas I tossed out above work,
but I wanted to check to make sure before I backed myself into a corner
of messy version numbering.

Thanks,
