I'm working on a C# clamd client for Mono/.NET. I am using the STREAM verb and then sending the file to be scanned as a text stream to the TCP port opened by clamd.
This works very well for the "test" signature file. I get "stream: ClamAV-Test-Signature FOUND". But for test.zip, test.bz2, test.rar, etc. I get "stream: OK". Does clamd NOT support unzipping archives when using STREAM or am I doing something wrong? Brian A.
