clamscan checks a file/directory permissions before attempting to scan it. Please
contact amavis-ng
mailing list or check its archive. If you are determined, you can make clamscan setuid
root (ONLY FOR
TEST) or you can use clamd (it should be secure even if running as a superuser) +
clamdscan (just change
the path to clamdscan in the amavis config file (well, you must only add the one
letter ;)).
