When using clamd as a non root user it does not seem to call initgroups() so it only picks up the users main group when it is likly you will want to add it to another group (at least with exiscan-acl). There is a thread on this on the exiscan mailing list.


Would it be possible for the next version to fix this? In the mean time if you run clamd as a user you will need to make sure its primary user/group has the privs you require
