Hi all there I read about a little, but it seems my question is not been asked earlier.
I'm using clamav 0.60 on desktop Red Hat 9 workstations. I installed and configured dazouko to enable "on access scanning" and it works OK, since I see virus warnings in the log. My question is: - Is there a way to automatically disinfect (or delete) an infected file "on access"? I figured out about using swatch to monitor the log file and then to run a perl script that triggers a Tk dialog (similar to desktop alerts on Windows), but unfortunately enough RH 9 perl has a bug that prevents Tk to compile (this seems to be a known bug in RH) so I cannot give it a try. In my wish the dialog should contain the log's line (with the virus' name and the file's name) and a button to remove (or repair) the file. Any idea would be very appreciated. Thanks a lot for your attentions and many compliments to the Clamav team. You're doing a great job guys!
