Does such error happen frequently? A few weeks ago I processed my mail
archives (more than 1 GB of data from various mailing lists) through
'scanmail --mbox' and nothing like that occurred. But I use Mailbox
format. Maybe that error is connected with Maildir format?
I find some quarantined infected messages in which 'clamscan --mbox'
simply doesn't detect a virus ("OK" according to clamscan - this is due
to somehow not good MIME decoding ) but I can't recall such error like
you wrote.
I suggest submitting such "Not a valid mail message" to Nigel Horn
<njh(.at.)bandsman.co.uk> who develops the mbox code so that he could
fix it.
