heya,It's software bugs (as long as you don't run it on defective hardware - make sure your system is stable in other aspects).
under what circumstances does clamav milter do a signal 11 ? hardware ?
Sep 21 20:20:14 freebsd /kernel: pid 71021 (clamav-milter), uid0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
Sep 21 23:57:51 freebsd /kernel: pid 71226 (clamav-milter), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
Make sure you run the latest code (from sourceforge.net's CVS repository or the nightly tarball) - there were major stability changes since the 0.60 release. If you want to help making clamav more stable, cofigure/compile it with the --enable-debug switch, and report crashes here; at best with a gdb backtrace and the message/condition which made clamav crash.
If you can't / won't use development code, Tomasz wrote today that he expects a new release in september.
