Thanks Thomasz, that works! I used the /opt/sfw/gcc-3/bin/gcc that comes with the Solaris 9u5 Software Companion (basically a CD of all the SFW packages.. the last CD in the media pack). I was getting errors like: ld: fatal: file values-Xa.o: open failed: No such file or directory ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to a.out collect2: ld returned 1 exit status I resolved that by installing SUNWarc and SUNWarcx (64bit probably not necessary, but it might be some day) .. just incase anyone else is troubled by that :) I can scan zip files again .. and. .even better.. I can get out of that "other" virus scanner before the trial is up :) Thanks for the great open source product.. if I ever get ahead in this game, I will be sure to donate :) Tommy -- Tommy McNeely - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unix Administrator - Electro Domestico ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
