Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?You're not doing anything wrong. It's a known problem with older ClamAV on Win32 machines without Cygwin.

I assume you're using Brian Burns' build from www.sosdg.org ?
Newer CVS snapshot don't have this problem anymore.
You could build your own, or wait till Brian releases another build, or use my build on clamav.or.id.
