First of all many thanks to all developers and people that are connected to clamav for such a great product! You are really doing a great job, keep on the good work.
Now to my problem... I have a mbox message that I have scanned with "clamscan --mbox <my_message>" and clamav doesn't detect the virus (I-Worm.Mydoom.a). I have submitted it to the online virus scanner on
http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html and here are the results :
Current object: virus-20040215-19240
virus-20040215-19240/[From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun, 15 Feb 2004 02:04:17 +0100]/UNNAMED Archive: Mail

Why doesn't clamav recognize the virus? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Let me mentione that my virus database was last updated today :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] possibleViruses]# tail /var/log/clam-update.log
ClamAV update process started at Wed Feb 18 08:00:00 2004
main.cvd is up to date (version: 19, sigs: 19987, f-level: 1, builder: ddm)
daily.cvd is up to date (version: 133, sigs: 741, f-level: 1, builder: tomek)
I'm using clamAV 0.67 on an RH 7.3 system.
Many thanks for your help and have a nice day.
Greetings from Slovenija,
Andrej.
