 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^  What is this file? Is it created at every
start or what?... What happens if you remove it or change its ownership
to clamav.root (or just clamav.)?

Though it may be a blind shot, as error is connected with other file
(e.g. /var/amavis/amavis-07047767/parts)...

I have the same problem, only it happens once in a while.
Lot's of e-mail is scanned with clamd normaly and than I get the same error. Maybe it's a timeout problem ? Or maybe amavis calls clamav too early so the files aren't there yet?
(Just some shots in the dark as I haven't investigated yet)
