Yeap I did that. Our config is qmail as proxy server with spamassassin and clamAV with qmail-queue-scanner. This proxy relay to a basic vpopmail-qmail config which deliver to the mailbox.
It works well despite the fact that ClamAV is currently not working, but it's surely a pb of config. BUT, I had a huge problem a few weeks ago, when spammers, viruses and so on started to flood the proxies ( we have two of them ). The emails were sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc etc following an alphabetic rule I assume. THEN the proxy is a real trouble: there is no way to know if those users exist on mydomain.com and if they are overquota. The proxy has to deal with all the bad email before vpopmail-qmail reject them. I didn't find any help about that, so I had to develop a pre-proxy which accept or refuse the connexion regarding to the recipient by interrogating vpopmail. Therefore, if I would change my proxy, I would look how is implemented a check of the recipient before the process.
