No, you can run amavis-new and have one instance with two sets of options. Or, theoretically, you can run the most recent postfix with the amavis-agent, which supposedly has milter-like properties. I'm not inclined to go that route. The nice thing about running through postfix twice is that you get to accept mail with a 250 OK and then toss them in the trash.
