Hi

I've installed the debian package for Debian Woody, from
http://people.debian.org/~sgran/debian

On one server, it works fine, and this is a good time to say that I am very
happy that there finally is a good Open Source solution to virusscanning.
Great work !

But on my other server, that handles most of the mail, I get some errors,
frequently, liek this:

Jun 25 06:10:22 localhost qmail: 1088136622.310986 X-Qmail-Scanner-1.22:
[pomer108813662247927762] clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error
or memory/resource/perms problem - exit status 2
Jun 25 06:10:22 localhost X-Qmail-Scanner-1.22: [pomer108813662247927762]
clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error or memory/resource/perms
problem - exit status 2
Jun 25 06:10:22 localhost qmail: 1088136622.310986 X-Qmail-Scanner-1.22:
[pomer108813662247927762] clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error
or memory/resource/perms problem - exit status 2

When I look in the log file, I see this:

Mon Jun 14 05:01:19 2004 -> /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/pomer10871820794793943/
z0008928.rp1: Zip module failure. ERROR

(I took random message, of course, the error in clamav.log is related to the
ones in syslog.)

I have no clue as to where to look for this ZIP module error.

On a related note, the debian package keeps complaining about something:

clamav suggests unrar (>= 3.0-1)
clamav recommends arj
arj does not appear to be available
clamav recommends unzoo
unzoo does not appear to be available

I manually installed 'zoo' (unzoo isn't there), unarj (arj isn't there) but to
no avail. (This last part of the message I also posted in seperate message
for debian packager)

Cheers,
ace
