approximately how many of the definitions are for viruses are are NOT
email-borne?

I'm thinking it could be possible to split the virus databases up to email and
non email-borne virii for those of us who are simply using clamav for
scanning emails on the server, so that we're not needlessly trying to match a
file against a signature it is VERY UNLIKEY to match :)

if it's only a few hundred non-email-borne virii, it's not worth the effort,
but if it's at least 20-30% or something, it is something I would take a look
at doing, myself.
