 It sounds like you have a haggler there :)

 Seriously though, I have no idea myself regarding the security specifics
of the updates, but they are arguing around a theoretical point. You
cannot possibly have someone physically attending each and every signature
update. And if there is a problem with any of the updates, check the logs.
