Title: RES: Clamav , postfix, amavisd-new and spamassassin not detecting zafi

I am using clamav 0-.75.1 virus definitions  Main database 26 Daily 481.

The mcafee is after clamav.

I scan the files using clamscan and it didnt detect either.

In clamav.net I  scanned the files and the virus was detected.

You start a new message by replying to a very old one.
Don't do this.

You send html formatted to a mailing list.
Don't do this, see the nomime url in my sig.

Are you using the latest clamav version (0.75.1) ?
If so, are you definitions up to date ?

Maybe clamav doesn't detect it, because mcafee already detected it
and removed the virus from the email ?

If the above do not apply, read the FAQ on http://www.clamav.net
to check out what you can do next (have it scanned online, submit the sample.

Or simply place your offset into the crontab entry.  EG:

12 * * * * sleep $[ $RANDOM % 1800 ] ; /usr/local/bin/freshclam --quiet

Which would give you 12 to 42 minutes after the hour.

Same effect.  Different insertion point.

UNIX: How many ways can we acomplish the same thing today?
Choice is good.

Sorry, this was not the case.
