I started clamd in a shell as root. clamav.conf reads as follows:

...
# Run as selected user (clamd must be started by root).
# By default it doesn't drop privileges.
#User clamav
...

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but recently I read on this list that 
KlamAV was released. It includes dazuko-2.0.3 pre-packaged. Do I have to 
install/load dazuko separately or does it come with the kernel? I didn't have 
to install it when I used the Antivir scanner.
