Not sure, it doesn't seem to be in the man pages for freshclam.conf yet, I found it by looking at the default freshclam.conf file in the build directory tree and comparing it with my existing configuration. Yes, there are a few rough edges in the SA docs at present. The DNS side of freshclam is sufficiently new that only a small group know how it works at present.
