configuration as well. I'm running Suse 9.0 w/ Exim 4.32. I'm seeing the same errors as others on the list.
I use a local socket, and tried various config option changes without any luck.(and checking perms) clamdscan does work fine though.

I've found this change in CVS (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/clamav/clamav-devel/clamd/others.c?rev=1.18&view=log). The change was committed by Tomasz Kojm with the very useful comment 'bugfix'.
I am also experiencing this problem with my installation of Exim+exiscan. Could someone who knows what this bug fix is comment on this issue?
