I recently noticed the "installation is OUTDATED" messages showing up in my 0.7 installs of Clam. I downloaded and installed 0.80rc4, but when I run freshclam, I'm still seeing:
WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED - please update immediately !
WARNING: Current functionality level = 2, required = 3
I renamed on the daily.cvd and main.cvd files on my computer and reran freshclam to see if that made a difference. Same error. I also ran freshclam -V to confirm the version. It returned:
ClamAV 0.80rc4/548/Sat Oct 23 20:50:33 2004
Is there something else that I need to do?
