Well, unless you picked any other option - AMAVIS only installed
support for the scanners it found at configure time. At the very
minimum you'll have to re-configure, re-build and re-install amavis.
However, surely you're better of asking this on the AMAVIS list,
seeing as it's about AMAVIS?
