Does this mean that the scanning is been made with an old copy?On Thu, 2004-11-25 at 16:45 -0500, Craig Green wrote:
If you're using TCP to connect the milter(s) to a remote bank of ClamAV scanners, the DB version is only read when the milter starts up and never updates.
This has been fixed in CVS, and will be in 0.81. If you can't wait till then, you can help to test from the daily snapshot at www.clamav.net
I don't think so, since the clamav-milter only "passes" the mail to the clamd, but I'm not sure, and that's why I'm asking :)
Only the email header mark is "outdated", isn't?
I'm new to clamav, and just want to be sure about it.
Can I leave the "outdated" clamav-milter running (I don't care if it's only a matter of Header stuff), or should I restart it periodically?
Of course, I will update to de 0.81 when it is available.
Thanks in advance.
Ale
