I will reply to you because I use FreeBSD 4.10-STABLE and clamav-0.80. StreamSaveToDisk seems to have been removed from clamd.conf. I don't run MILTER, but maybe Nigel will advise you on that. He does talk alot on it. I suspect he runs Sendmail ;) Anyway, whether you compile clamav by hand or from the ports, you end up with clamd.conf in /path/to/clamav-0.80/etc or /usr/local/etc/ respectively. Respect those two files. What is not in them is not required, as you put it. I suggest you address the MILTER problem in a different way by seeking answers to questions about what it writes in the logs when it refuses to work, no? -Wash http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html -- +======================================================================+ |\ _,,,---,,_ | Odhiambo Washington <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Zzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ | Wananchi Online Ltd. www.wananchi.com |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-'| Tel: +254 20 313985-9 +254 20 313922 '---''(_/--' `-'\_) | GSM: +254 722 743223 +254 733 744121 +======================================================================+ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy." _______________________________________________ http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users
