Those of us in operational contexts who block 60%+ of inbound mail for
being spam would beg to differ with you.  Known spam supporting
operations should be spanked for allowing massive amounts of spam.  I'm
not saying one time gets you blacklisted forever, but a solid week of
spam constitutes knowingly supporting it.

Yeah collateral damage does suck.  Pray that the IETF comes up with
something other than the wide-open smtp system that exists now.
