Er, uh, unless Linux has invented some permissions schemes I do not know about 
(which is entirely possible), I think that would be root.  And that is 
probably not such a great idea.

Then again, Linux has ACL's doesn't it?  I suppose it can be done that way, 
but it means setting them up for every user I think.  I only run this box for 
one user (me), so it really is a trivial issue over here,  but I am trying to 
imagine a data center environment ...
