FWIW, these are the options I run with to send all notices to a virusmaster
alias:
/usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter \
--max-children=20 \
--timeout=120 \
--headers \
--noreject \
[EMAIL PROTECTED] \
--postmaster-only \
--external \
-ol local:/var/clamav/clmilter.sock
I then do some procmail magic to notify us when a virus comes from our IP
space. I also use this to log the From/Date/Subject of all mail blocked as a
virus to an mySQL database, so users can check if a mail they missed was
blocked as a virus. Seemed to me to be a good compromise.
