I am just wondering about how long will a stable release be supported before it get tossed? The sevenX version is no longer really functional because it has no virii def updates any more. I know lots of people who build mail servers and would like to not perform any major maintenance after it runs. Just wondering how long the 8.x series will live before it dies. Don't take my questions wrong because I understand that heavy development is a good thing. Just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be cool if we could just patch and have an updated version with out confs and program name changes.
