Option b) would be the way to go.
Thanks Stephen and Nigel. I'm giving the daily snapshot a whirl. We'll see what happens to clamd when the next round of ml digests come at me. The collection of saved emails that dos'd me work find with clamdscan from the Mar 14 snapshot.
