But I had already updated it 5mins after it was released.

# killall freshclam
and start it again
Ok. I had re-started clamd and freshclam.
clamav 23719 5.1 1.5 12084 7976 ? S 03:06 0:00 /usr/local/sbin/clamd
clamav 23724 0.0 0.2 5068 1272 ? Ss 03:07 0:00 /usr/local/bin/freshclam -d
So how do i check if it is working now. Maybe Kevin is right. I might be considering logwatch is broken and ignoring it totally.
