0.84 finds many more viruses and handles more formats than 0.80, so it's really hardly surprising that it's slower. The code to handle the new formats of malware doesn't run at infinite speed and how ever much we try, adding extra instructions adds extra loads on a CPU. > Thanks -- Nigel Horne.
