Thank you, it worked and am now running the new clamav. However I got these
messages:

checking for curl >= 7.10.0... FAILED
configure: WARNING: curl-config was not found
checking for mi_stop in -lmilter... no
checking for library containing strlcpy... no
checking for mi_stop in -lmilter... no
configure: error: Cannot find libmilter

In the documentation there is a procedure you use to make clamav-milter work
with Sendmail. Should I use the same procedure to make clamav-milter work
with Postix. Or is there another way to make it work with Postfix?

1. Make a directory in your home directory called for example
/home/souza/src and put the file clamav-0.85.1.tar.gz in there.

2. Change the working directory to /home/souza/src.

3. Issue the command

tar xzvf clamav-0.85.1.tar.gz

which will greate a directory tree under clamav-0.85.1/ in the current
(/home/souza/src/) directory.

4. Using any browser, read the documentation in clamav-0.85.1/docs/html

You can alternatively read the same documentation online, if you care
to look for it on the ClamAV site.

Ged.
