It seems your server has reached the limit of open files:
LibClamAV Error: Can't create temporary file
/export/home/var/tmp/clamav-ae56442370c55c7c/textportion8sL6E1: Too many open files <--
It could be that it isn't closing the files Or there are to many programs
running.
Perheaps a server restart and lowering the number of max children could solve
your problem.
Or if it's posible rais the number of the maximum open files allowd.

When I tried to restart the milter, it would not restart at all. No error
messages are given as to why it might not be starting, it just does nothing.
(I know that is not descriptive, sorry).
The command line I have been using is /usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter -lo
--max-children=120 /var/run/clmilter.sock
I thought maybe it was a bug in rc1, so I upgraded to 0.86.1, and the same
thing happens, I also downloaded the lastest development snapshop as of
yesterday (6/29) and that did not help either.
I have tried running clamd seperatly, which does run, and then running the
milter without the max-children, and with --external, and still nothing happens.
I have reported it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as directed in the log file.
Anyone out there have any idea as to what might be going on? If anyone needs
more information, please let me know.
