You need to read, study, and understand what each line in the
configuration file means. When this is accomplished you won't need to ask
this question. If you cannot get to this point you have no foundation to
understand the answers given you. Better is to ask specific questions
about some feature or option that you don't completely understand, but you
had damn well be prepared to understand the answer and talk about it
sensibly. There is no magic key you can turn that makes all this run, but
it also isn't hard to learn if you apply yourself. Specifically, you can
be an expert installer in two weeks if you're diligent.

Helpful to include in your questions is the OS you use, the mailer you
have,  the means by which you intend to invoke the ClamAV tool, the
distribution of ClamAV you are using, etc. But if you haven't done the
neccessary reading the answers might just as well be written in
pictographs from the Kingdom of Tonga for all the good they will do you.

Here's a hint - the configuration file is a poor place to start. It is, in
fact, where you finish.
