hi all,
i have win xp users and i want them to update to a
local database mirror instead. i've configured my
local database mirror server with the following
virtualHost options as mentioned in
clamav-mirror-howto
<VirtualHost 10.1.2.3>
ServerAdmin [EMAIL PROTECTED]
DocumentRoot /home/clamavdb/public_html
ServerName database.clamav.net
ServerAlias db.*.clamav.net
ServerAlias clamav.foo.com
</VirtualHost>
and set up my /etc/hosts to point my local ip to
database.clamav.net
now, how do i make my local server download updates
from clamav master database so that my winxp users can
update their databases via my local server? do i need
to get an rync account from clamav directly? i want a
local mirror only for my users not for everyone
else...
