I have a mailserver that was recently setup. Sun Netra T1 105
running NetBSD 2.0.2, Postfix, Amavisd-new, SpamAssassin and Clamav.
At different intervals during the day the clamd process will start
running up and using 97%+ of CPU. All mail will stop flowing and
sometimes you can force a kill with a -9 and others it has literally
killed the box. This was first experienced with .87.1 and yesterday
I upgraded to the nightly tarball and had the same happen again.
I have rebuilt the software multiple times, completely rebuilt the
config files, and now need some suggestions on how to proceed next.
I am 100+ miles from this box and until they finish remodeling, I do
not have console access via modem. Any help or suggestions would be
appreciated in tracking down this issue. Thanks in advance.
