I should have said that we WERE scanning all mail, until this emergency. now that it's under control, outgoing mail is now scanned as well again.
What it means is you won't stop viruses in files larger than 1 meg.
Actually, no messages OVER 1MB even get to the scanner for incoming mail. So larger files don't get by the scanner at all.
So now you're not stopping them coming or going. Are you stopping any attachments be filename prior to scanning?
