I've upgraded several times before using rpms but this time something isn't going right. I've stopped clamd and freshclam. I've tried it with the .87 version still installed, I've tried it with the .87 version removed. I can install the two libraries, when installing the .88 version of libclamav1 it removed the .87 version. After that is done trying to upgrade the clamav-0.88 results in being told everything is already installed. Removing everything and installing the libraries then trying the clamav install I'm told that I need to have the .87 db installed. Seems like I'm in a vicious circle here. Never had this problem before. These are the rpms from ftp://ftp.neocat.org/pub/RPMS/ for Mandriva. Any advice or a kick in the head to make me see what I'm missing here would be highly appreciated.
