Hello,
Nope... I have recompiled and tweaked the conf file as much as I
can, the load on the server seems to be too much. My mail server is
running on a Sun Enterprise 450 with 4x400Mhz Ultrasparc 2 & 2GB Ram,
and I think the incoming SMTP traffic is just too much. The clamd
process takes up over 75% of the CPU and the machine load average jumps
to 13+, then the accept() failed starts showing up and the server
becomes unresponsive. I've managed to talk the owner into letting me
build a new dedicated ClamAV server. (hence my other question in the
Mailing List) Hopefully that should remove the bottleneck.
Thanks,
Nicolas MacPherson

I don't understand how to work around this issue. When these start
You have restarted clamd? Some month ago (not 0.88 version) i've found
clamd ``stalled'', like this.
