I'm getting the following message in my maillog file.....
Feb 20 01:04:57 as ClamAV-autoupdate[6774]: ClamAV updater
/usr/bin/clamdscan/bin/freshclam cannot be run
Feb 20 01:04:57 as update.virus.scanners: Found generic installed
Feb 20 01:04:57 as update.virus.scanners: Running autoupdate for generic
Feb 20 02:01:01 as update.virus.scanners: Delaying cron job up to 600 seconds
Feb 20 02:06:27 as update.virus.scanners: Found clamav installed
Feb 20 02:06:27 as update.virus.scanners: Running autoupdate for clamav
It seems that its the update_virus_scanners script that it generating this
message.
As my freshclam is in /usr/bin/ im guessing that if i change the cron.hourly
script to point to this instead of the above, all will be fine.
I've tried looking for the config file that runs the ClamAV-autoupdate file
with no luck.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, or expaling that this error is
nothing to worry about.
