I tried again, as an experiment, and it worked, no dependency conflict noted,
only that dazuko taints the kernel (is it proprietary software?)

I had a hunch that "FATAL: error" meant it was already probed. This msg
appeared with [modprobe capability] as well. Following the Klamav FAQs'
instructions, I set the dazuko module to load on boot, using the [yast2
sysconfig] command. During reboot messages, a new boot message appeared
about sub-domain profiles not loaded. These are related to Novell's
AppArmor, an intrusion detection system (?), so perhaps there is a conflict
between AppArmor and Clamav. Anyway, the Klamav icon is in
KMenu/Utilities/Security/Klamav, currently downloading main.cvd.

I suppose the lesson is: if it doesn't work, try it again, as there may be
some unknown variation ironed out the second time. Also, one will probably
gain more information of how the parts of a complex process are sequencing
together.

Thanks again.
